July 16, 2024 | Sixty-five years ago, in 1957, the Rockefeller Brothers Fund Trustees, with the concurrence of the Philippine government, established the Ramon Magsaysay Award to honor the memory and example of integrity in public service of President Ramon Magsaysay. Often called the “Nobel Prize of Asia,” it is considered Asia’s most prestigious prize to recognize individuals and organizations who have made significant contributions.
