NWTF Turns Over Dungganon Youth Hub

“To the youth: this space is yours. Use it. Learn with purpose, and build the future you want to see.”

— Suzzette D. Gaston, NWTF Executive Director and Co-Founder

Negros Women for Tomorrow Foundation, Inc. marks another meaningful milestone as it officially turns over the Dungganon Youth Hub at Bantayan Park to the City Government of Bago City led by Mayor Mayette Javellana-Yao, on May 8, 2026.

The occasion became even more meaningful as it coincided with the birthday of Mayor Mayette — a fitting celebration of leadership, partnership, and shared commitment to the future of Bago’s youth.

More than a physical space, the Dungganon Youth Hub represents a shared commitment between NWTF and the local government to build strong, resilient, and future-ready communities by investing in the youth.

For over 40 years, NWTF has remained committed to empowering communities through responsible entrepreneurship, social development, and inclusive partnerships. Through initiatives such as the 3 Zero Clubs, implemented together with schools, the Department of Education, and local organizations, NWTF continues to engage young people as active partners in creating solutions for their communities.

The Dungganon Youth Hub will serve as a space for learning, collaboration, leadership, and innovation — where young Bagonhons can grow into responsible leaders and changemakers.

Today’s turnover reflects more than partnership. It reflects trust in the capacity of the youth to help shape a more sustainable and compassionate future for Bago City and beyond.

NWTF Holds First Balik Panguma Agri Fair

Last May 7–8, over 200 Dungganon clients across Negros Island gathered for two days of farming, learning, and celebration.

The Balik Panguma Agri-Fair 2026 brought communities closer through hands-on workshops, cooking demonstrations, the Dungganon Agri-Market, and a rooftop demo garden that showcased the possibilities of growing sustainably and thriving together.

This milestone would not have been possible without the dedication of the NWTF team and the active participation of our Dungganon clients who brought the event to life through their stories, harvests, and shared experiences.

Thank you to the Citi Foundation, our partners, friends from the media, speakers, exhibitors, and everyone who became part of this celebration of agriculture, sustainability, and community.

Together, we continue to cultivate hope, opportunity, and growth.
